Mr. Wilson
This has to stop, and I’m stopping it. I won’t be the abused spouse anymore. I won’t always be the one hoping for next year, living in some fantasy land that things are going to get better, despite essentially, 30 years of history telling me otherwise. I will not have the most hopeful part of my football season be the draft.
I’m embarrassed by this franchise’s lack of leadership and accountability, and I won’t be a part of this ridiculous farce put over on the good people of Buffalo (and any sorry sod who doesn’t have the Sunday Ticket) anymore. If anything, this season Buffalo Bills’ football has been about doing the absolute best with the absolute least. This has been season where the people who work for you are too scared to speak truthfully, where the people who support you financially are treated with scorn, and disrespect.
I find these things truly distasteful, and most importantly, do not represent my morals and values as a person and fan of football. Football can teach us so many great things about team work, responsibility, measuring ourselves by our ability, and our own expectations. I search to find things in this franchise, and I come up wanting.
As you have not found any accountability in your franchise, I’m forced to find it in you. I’m 37 years old, and today, I am no longer a Bills fan.
